As anyone who knows me can attest, I am fond of animals. I have had pets all my life. I currently have two cats (Gypsy & Djali) and a rabbit (Bryansk) as well as two budgies (pictures coming soon), a goldfish and a paradise fish. They keep my life quite busy. I'm also going to include a pet memorial page to document the happy times with older pets including Tinker the motherly Dog, Waggle-Tail the Cat (I was four when I named him, what can I say. The name was appropriate enough), Marco-Polo the Dog, Smurf the Siamese Fighting Fish (named for his smurf-like color, not for the irony of the name - including egg-pics of his offspring!) & Caramel the Dorm-room Rat (can't find pictures of her successors Chyornaya & Persephone, unfortunately).
I've participated in several non-invasive behavioral research projects studying rhinos, bonobos (pygmy chimps) and egrets. I will write a bit about them when time permits.
